Hardside or Softside Luggage?
A suitcase is either Hard or Soft. Hard shell cases are good for those wanting to have the feeling of additional security and protection of their belongings with a tough outer shell, while Soft cases are generally more flexible and often lighter weight. Some have the benefit of being expandable with additional features such as front pockets.
Two or Four Wheels ? …It’s about manoeuvrability
A 2 wheeled suitcase has to be pulled behind you, which tends to be easier if wheeling on rougher or uneven surfaces. They also provide more internal capacity than a 4 wheeled case, and tend to be a more cost effective option. QUBEd suitcases mostly have the Cabin case on 2 wheels where the capacity is the most important, but where the product is small enough to tow easily, so manoeuvrability is not compromised.
We feel the Medium & Large sizes need to be on 4 wheels making the case feel lighter and easier to pull, especially on smooth and flat surfaces such as airports and train stations. They can also be be pulled along on 2 wheels on rougher terrains.
